Sandfloor Cathedral

Sandfloor Cathedral

Sandfloor PhotoSandfloor Cathedral is an underwater music video with music by composer, Lee Johnson. The work is a visual and sonoral journey into the vast beauty of the sea that takes a look at Humpback Whales from the Silver Bank, Atlantic Spotted Dolphins from the Bahamas, shipwrecks and more. The soundtrack is recorded with The London Symphony, Scola Cantorum, Falicia Sorensen and other great artists.

The concept in Sandfloor Cathedral is that the sea is a spiritual place where God as creator of all things can be worshiped. Lee Johnson ( the composer) Clay Powers ( the producer) and Donald Tipton ( videographer / photographer) have all entered into this project with the desire to produce a work of aesthetic value but at the same time to create a spiritual look into the sea.

Sandfloor Cathedral is now available as a DVD. It contains the 43 minute film, a behind the scenes look at the making of Sandfloor, and sections in which Lee Johnson, Clay Powers and Donald Tipton each discuss their rolls in Sandfloor Cathedral.

The brilliant soundtrack of Lee Johnson is in 5.1 Suroundsound which has the effect of putting you in the middle of the orchestra. This combined with the captivating underwater footage of Donald Tipton makes this film a work that you will experience rather than just observe.
